The brief was to design and produce display panels for a local history exhibition entitled “Feeding The Front Line”, to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the start of WW1.
The exhibition highlighted the ‘Home Front’ in Banbury and how the town was affected and it’s people’s lives changed.
At it’s heart – Filling Factory No. 9 – a munitions factory which fed over 4 million shells and mines to the Front Line. The site is waiting for English Heritage status.
